Had a fabulous day with my nephew in Fort Worth. He was a great sport going to three different locations, in the heat, just for me. Of course we did get to go to two of his favorite places, a baseball field and the library. Not all bad in a day of fun!

A Take On a Need for Speed

Well, spent yesterday at Texas Motor Speedway for the very first time. For my dad's birthday we all got him the driving experience of a lifetime. He had a blast and I got to try my new wide angle lens before my trip. Just so you know he got up to 137 mph not bad for someone who has never gotten a speeding ticket in his life!

Spent a wonderful morning in Grapevine with adorable Cailin and her fabulous mom. Cailin was very excited to play on trains and eat lollipops, then we hit the jackpot when she was able to be with horses too!! Hope you enjoy!

A Take On A Fabulous Cookie

Well for those of you who missed the yummy "cookie" cake, here are the pictures. It was made with love with my Grandma and enjoyed by a few co-workers on Monday. Then Walker out smarted us all today by waiting ever so patiently for the kitchen door to be open. Gone in one gulp. Not to worry, a repeat will surely be done in the near future.

Well back at it again with cupcakes, with the help of Allie. Unfortunately our banana split dishes were not big enough to hold three cupcakes. Oh well!
